Job summary

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston, Inc. in North Carolina is seeking a Composite Technician to join our Production department. You will lay out, assemble, pre-fit, and bond metal, composite, and laminate fabrications in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

The role requires familiarity with lay-ups, bonding, and adherence to engineering specifications, with the ability to work any shift. Authorized to work in the US. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills.
• Knowledge of aviation Quality Management Systems (QMS) and FOD programs preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, assemble, pre-fit, and bond metal, composite, or laminate fabrications and components.
• Follow engineering specs and determine bonding requirements (temperature/pressure).
• Operate autoclave, hydraulic presses and ovens to complete bonding cycles.
• Monitor quality and verify work per work instructions and procedures.
• Move product within the manufacturing area and support continuous flow of production.
