Job summary

Sonaca North America is seeking an Assembler and Paint Touch Up to prepare and assemble sheet metal components, drill and rivet to specifications, and apply touch up paint as needed. The role supports lean processes, on-time delivery, and safety on the factory floor.

The ideal candidate has high school graduation and prior experience with blueprints or precision tools, with a commitment to quality and teamwork in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or pre-employment assessment for equivalency.
• Previous aircraft experience or sheet metal work preferred.
• Must be able to interpret blueprints and precision measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Follow process specifications, work orders, blueprints and engineering orders.
• Assemble sheet metal components and inspect for conformance to specs.
• Drill, rivet, deburr and finish parts; apply touch up paint when needed.
• Identify and report shortages or non-conformances to supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety on the manufacturing floor.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
