Job summary

Sonaca North America is seeking an assembler to drill, deburr, rivet and assemble sheet metal parts. You will also apply touch up paint and inspect finished components for conformance to specifications.

The role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to follow engineering orders and blueprints. Ideal candidates have basic mechanical aptitude, experience with blueprints, and familiarity with precision measuring devices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred; pre-employment assessment if not present.
• Previous aircraft experience or sheet metal work preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude to interpret work instructions and assemble parts.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with team members.
• Prior experience with blueprints and precision measuring devices a plus.
• Skilled at using a variety of small hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Follow process specs, work orders, blueprints, and instructions to assemble and repair sheet metal parts.
• Pull parts from bin and report shortages to Supervisor.
• Drill, rivet, fit, countersink, finish and inspect parts per specifications.
• Apply touch up paint as needed.
