Job summary

Sonaca North America in Cottonwood Falls, KS is seeking an assembler to drill, deburr and assemble sheet metal parts in aerospace manufacturing. You will follow process specs, work orders, blueprints and engineering orders to assemble components and ensure quality.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent; prior aircraft experience is preferred. You will use small hand tools, read drawings, and maintain safety with PPE on the factory floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior aircraft experience or sheet metal work preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude to read instructions and assemble parts.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Work from process specifications, work orders, blueprints and orders.
• Assemble, drill, rivet, deburr and inspect parts to meet specs.
• Report shortages and non-conformances to Supervisor.
• Maintain PPE and safety on the manufacturing floor.
