Job summary

Sonaca North America in Auburn, WA is hiring Assemblers for the 2nd shift to drill, deburr, and assemble sheet metal components for aerospace applications. You will follow process specs, read blueprints, and use precision measuring tools, performing quality checks and supporting lean processes.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of assembly experience; aircraft or sheet metal background is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or high school equivalency preferred.
• 2+ years of Assembly experience with sheet metal.
• Aircraft experience or sheet metal work preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring devices is a plus.
• Strong communication with team members is important.

Responsibilities

• Follow process specifications, work orders and blueprints to assemble sheet metal components.
• Drill, ream, rivet, fit, countersink, adjust and inspect parts to meet specifications.
• Select and handle parts, report shortages to Supervisor.
• Inspect work and report any non-conformances; help eliminate defects.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
