Job summary

GE Aerospace in Loves Park, IL is seeking a Skilled Assembler for 1st shift (Tue-Fri, 4x10) to work from assembly prints and test procedures. You will set up and operate equipment, and document in-process verification data while following safety rules.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year of aerospace assembly experience, plus the ability to lift 25 lbs and read and interpret technical manuals. This is a full-time position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year aerospace or similar assembly experience.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and handle physical tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly blueprints and manuals.
• Familiarity with mechanical/electrical measuring tools.
• Ability to read, interpret and document technical data in English.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components following prints and procedures.
• Set up and operate equipment with guidance from technicians.
• Record assembly data and perform in-process verifications.
• Identify process variations and adjust to compliant practices.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE; report safety concerns.
