Job summary

GE Aviation Systems LLC in Loves Park, IL is seeking an assembler to support failure analysis and electromechanical/electrical assembly. You will set up equipment, document in-process verification, and work from complex drawings and manuals.

The role requires reading blueprints, using measuring tools, and following safety rules. Lifting up to 25 lbs and ability to work with PPE is expected. Solder certification and 1+ year experience are desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in electromechanical or electrical assembly is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and use measuring tools.
• Ability to read and follow assembly drawings and manuals.
• Ability to read and document technical data in English.

Responsibilities

• Work with and provide input to help in failure analysis from drawings, plans, procedures, and manuals.
• Set up and operate equipment with guidance from technicians.
• Check and record assembly data and perform in-process verification.
• Recognize process variation and adjust to compliant work practices.
• Work from complex product drawings and specifications.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE.
