Job summary

Blue Origin in Kent, WA is seeking an Additive Manufacturing post-processing technician. You will perform post-processing on AM printed hardware, using hand tools and PPE to ensure safe, repeatable spaceflight hardware. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and collaboration across departments.

You will support powder removal, post-processing, and continuous improvement, requiring meticulous attention to defects, documentation, and cross-training across AM work centers.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace manufacturing or related technical field.
• Ability to operate complex processes and equipment, including AM machines.
• Ability to use complex software interfaces for accurate data handling.
• Commitment to high quality, attention to detail and schedule adherence.
• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery safely, including PIT equipment and overhead cranes.
• Document work orders and maintain control media references.
• Support 3D printer operations and post-processing activities.
• Collaborate with programmers, schedulers, machinists, and technicians across centers.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work area; support safety initiatives.
• Handle hazmat and PPE; participate in continuous improvement efforts.
