Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an M&P Engineer to provide critical Manufacturing and Supply Chain support in Seattle, Washington. You will focus on laser powder bed fusion technology and enhance the quality of spaceflight hardware.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in material science, over 3 years of manufacturing experience with LPBF processes, and a strong commitment to quality and teamwork. A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience with metal Laser Powder Bed Fusion processes.
• Experience with LPBF materials like stainless steel, copper, nickel, and titanium alloys.
• Proven experience developing and executing test plans for AM processes.

Responsibilities

• Leverage advancements in software to improve AM parts production.
• Develop AM processes and parameters for metallic materials.
• Conduct root cause investigations of production issues with powder and printed materials.
