Job summary

RTX’s Pratt & Whitney division is seeking an Adaptive Engines Mechanical Systems Product Owner in East Hartford, CT. You will own CIPT scope, lead a Scrum Team, and manage risks and metrics to meet program goals for advanced engine systems.

You will collaborate with customers, SIPTs, IPMTs, and suppliers, ensuring alignment with program objectives and validating engine builds through testing and reviews. This role emphasizes leadership, technical oversight, and agile program management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, military, logistics, aerospace or aviation.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own part-level CIPT scope, including planning, communication, risk management, and execution of program requirements.
• Lead the Scrum Team in identifying, managing, and closing key technical risks and issues.
• Lead the Scrum Team through technical and program reviews and ensure deliverables align with program objectives.
• Manage Scrum Team schedules, budgets, technical metrics, and business metrics to meet program requirements.
• Perform Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Control Account Manager (CAM) activities for assigned Scrum Team scope.
• Collaborate with customers, SIPTs, IPMTs, suppliers, and cross-functional organizations; provide technical support for engine validation builds and testing.
