Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Entry Operations in Norfolk, VA. You will safeguard clients across aerospace/defense sites, manage access points, verify credentials, and maintain a secure environment while delivering exceptional customer service.

In this role, you will monitor access control, respond to incidents, conduct patrols, and document activities.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and authorizations, process visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security procedures and policies.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and authorizations, and manage entry for visitors and contractors.
• Respond to incidents and alarms, notifying site contacts and emergency responders as required.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized access.
• Operate access control and communication systems and complete timely activity and incident reports.
