Job summary

You will help develop and apply physics-based modeling and simulation for launcher systems, focusing on nonlinear dynamics, heat transfer, and fluid-structure interaction.

The role requires strong programming skills (C/C++, Python, MATLAB or FORTRAN), excellent technical writing, and the ability to work onsite four days per week. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with relevant modeling experience.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (C/C++, Python, MATLAB or FORTRAN).
• Strong writing skills for technical documentation.
• Ability to work onsite 4 days a week at Sunnyvale Site.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop physics-based models and simulation software for launcher systems.
• Perform non-linear structural dynamics, heat transfer, fluid/structure analyses.
• Analyze test data from missile launch and shock tests.
• Document results in technical reports and presentations.
