Job summary

The Boeing Company in Seal Beach, CA, seeks an Aerodynamics Engineer (Flight Operations) to research and evaluate aerospace systems, plan operations, and collaborate with engineers and pilots to deliver safe, reliable flight operations.

You will analyze data, respond to fleet inquiries on MMEL, DDG, FCOM/QRH and ferry flight requests, and support the 24-hour Operations Center while contributing to cost estimates and design standards. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 5 years aerospace engineering experience.
• Experience applying pilot procedures and replying to flight operations inquiries.
• Ability to interpret MMEL, DDG, and related flight operation documents.
• Coordinate across engineering, pilots and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Research and evaluate aerospace systems to meet requirements.
• Plan sequences of operations to fabricate and assemble parts for efficiency.
• Provide technical information and resolve flight operations issues.
• Support the 24-hour Operations Center for time-critical inquiries.
• Develop detailed responses with engineers and pilots and document findings.
