Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking an Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer to join the BT&E team in Patuxent River, Maryland. You will support the V-22 Flight Control System, troubleshoot, load software, and work with government and civilian teammates in a test-flight environment.

Responsibilities include documenting requirements, validating designs, diagnosing flight test squawks, and producing clear technical reports. Associate and Mid-Level candidates are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
• Experience with fixed-wing and/or rotary-wing aircraft platforms.
• Experience in hardware systems test, lab testing, or systems engineering.
• Experience with Flight Control Systems and avionics integration.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Aeronautical or related).

Responsibilities

• Develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements with customers.
• Test and validate that designs meet operational and functional requirements.
• Troubleshoot and sustain V-22 Flight Control System across mechanical, hydro-mechanical, electronic, and software domains.
• Load, configure, and verify flight control software and avionics configurations for test aircraft.
• Participate in pre/post flight briefings; document findings and actions.
• Diagnose flight test squawks and coordinate corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Build a systems-level understanding of FCS architecture, interfaces and performance.
• Coordinate with government customers, test pilots and maintainers in a team environment.
• Produce technical reports, test logs and handover documentation.
