Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an Aerodynamics Engineer to join the Aero, Thermal & Clearances Design team. You will perform aerodynamic design and analysis for turbomachinery hardware across the gas power portfolio, supporting NPI/NTI, testing, and fielded products, under technical leadership.

The role requires steady/unsteady aerodynamics expertise, strong analytical judgement, and ability to move concept through final documentation. Collaboration with global teams and use of CFD tools are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited college/university.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in aerodynamic analysis and design for turbomachinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform aerodynamic analysis and design activities for turbomachinery components across products.
• Contribute to 1D, 2D, and 3D aerodynamic analysis methods to meet performance and reliability needs.
• Support design phases for NPI, NTI, research, and fielded product support with increasing autonomy.
• Build, assess, and improve aerodynamic models; prepare design review materials with conclusions.
• Apply sound engineering judgment to evaluate design trade-offs and propose advanced solutions.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to deliver integrated, high-quality designs.
