Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking an Engineer – Thermal Dynamics to advance thermal design and analysis for turbomachinery hardware within the Aero-Thermal & Clearances Design (ATCD) team. You will contribute to heat transfer, secondary flow systems, and model development across NPI, NTI, and fielded programs.

The role entails collaborating with global teams, applying engineering judgment, and delivering high-quality design documentation under technical leadership guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or comparable field.
• Minimum 3 years in heat transfer, fluid mechanics, or thermal analysis for turbomachinery.
• U.S. government export control restrictions apply; US persons only.

Responsibilities

• Perform heat transfer, secondary flow, CFD, and thermal analysis for turbomachinery components across gas and steam turbine products.
• Develop and apply thermal design expertise to solve design and analysis challenges with urgency.
• Support NPI/NTI and product support programs through design phases with increasing autonomy.
