Job summary

RTX Technology Research Center is seeking a candidate for the Aero-Thermal Testing Group to perform experimental testing and support test facilities. The role emphasizes analytical engineering, hands-on assembly, instrumentation, and data integrity.

The position requires 5+ years in relevant fields or 3+ with an advanced degree, plus experience with data acquisition, fluid systems, and testing. It is a first shift with potential multi-shift support.

Qualifications

• Requires university degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or related field, or equivalent experience; minimum 5 years experience; or an advanced degree with 3+ years experience.
• Minimum 1 year with experimental test execution and test facility operations troubleshooting.
• Minimum 1 year experience in system design, fluid dynamics, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Minimum 1 year experience with data acquisition and control systems, and test instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Join Aero-Thermal Testing Group to plan and execute experimental tests and maintain data validity.
• Perform day-to-day test operations, troubleshooting, and safety audits.
• Install and support test articles and facility systems; communicate results and issues to the team.
