The Director of Quality at Aero-Glen International in Fort Worth, TX leads the Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions and owns the QMS, ensuring AS9100/AS9120 compliance and continual improvement to deliver reliable aerospace products and services.

Key duties include shaping the quality strategy, directing audits and supplier quality, managing risk-based processes, leading a skilled QA team, and ensuring readiness for internal, external, and customer assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering with minimum 10 years aerospace experience.
• AS9100/AS9120 knowledge and experience preferred.
• Proven leadership of QA/QC teams and quality management systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with audits and supplier quality management.

Responsabilités

• Establish and execute the quality strategy aligned with business objectives and customer expectations.
• Develop staffing, training, and resource plans for the quality organization.
• Maintain and improve AS9100/AS9120 QMS with risk-based thinking.
• Oversee internal and external audits and coordinate with certification bodies.
• Manage supplier quality program, including approvals and performance evaluations.
• Lead investigation and resolution of customer quality issues with root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain and Operations on continuous improvement initiatives.
• Handle CUI/FCI compliance as required.
