Job summary

Aero-Glen International in Fort Worth, Texas, is seeking a Director of Quality to provide strategic direction and operational oversight of the company’s Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions. The role owns the QMS, maintains AS9100/AS9120 compliance, drives continuous improvement, and ensures products meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering or related field with aerospace experience.
LEAN certification highly desired.
Experience with AS9100/AS9120 and Quality Management System (QMS).
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

Establish and execute quality strategy aligned with objectives and requirements.
Develop staffing and training plan for the quality dept.
Balance customer needs with compliance, efficiency and performance.
Maintain AS9100/AS9120 QMS and drive continual improvement.
Oversee audits and relationships with cert bodies and auditors.
Assess quality impact of new contracts and acquisitions.
Manage supplier quality program and performance evaluation.
Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for issues.
Oversee first article and receiving inspections and documentation.
Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain and Operations on improvements.
Handle CUI and FCI for assigned accounts.
