Job summary

The Director of Quality at Aero-Glen International, under Wencor Group LLC, leads the Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions in Fort Worth. As the owner of the QMS, you will ensure compliance with AS9100/AS9120 and drive continuous improvement to deliver high-quality products and services that meet customer expectations.

You will establish quality strategy, manage staffing, audits, supplier quality, and collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering or related field; aerospace preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of aerospace experience or equivalent.
• Experience leading QA/QC in AS9100/AS9120 environments.
• LEAN certification highly desired.
• Proven leadership and people-management capabilities.
• Strong proficiency with MS Office (Excel/Access/PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Set quality strategy aligned with business goals and risks.
• Develop staffing plan and define roles across the quality org.
• Maintain/improve AS9100/AS9120 QMS with a risk-based approach.
• Oversee internal/external audits and corrective actions.
• Manage supplier quality, qualification and performance.
• Lead investigations of customer quality issues and fixes.
• Oversee first article and receiving inspection processes.
• Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain and Ops for improvements.
