Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 4+ years of related experience
- Familiar with aerodynamic analysis methods and CFD
- CFD experience with Ansys/StarCCM+
- Experience with 3D CAD: SolidWorks/NX/CATIA V5/Fusion 360
- Python, Matlab, or Julia programming skills
Responsibilities
- Participate in reviews and provide feedback to design teams
- Perform CFD analysis of aircraft systems and external aerodynamics
- Conduct design optimization trades for aerodynamics, acoustics, heat transfer and aeroelasticity
- Provide testing support for flight projects and proposals
- Develop and validate flow process methods and models
- Write technical reports and create analysis tools for sizing parts
