Job summary

Tiberius Aerospace is seeking a CFD Engineer to advance aerodynamic and propulsion analyses for high-performance air vehicles. You will lead high-fidelity CFD tasks including internal flows (inlets, combustors, nozzles) and external aerodynamics across subsonic to high-supersonic regimes, working with propulsion engineers to turn CFD results into actionable design guidance.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years CFD experience, proficiency with major solvers (Fluent, STAR-CCM+, CFD++), and a B.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. or higher in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of CFD experience on air vehicle, propulsion, or munition programs.
• Hands-on with at least one major CFD solver and post-processing.

Responsibilities

• Set up, solve, and post-process high-fidelity CFD for internal and external flows.
• Conduct design studies for inlets, combustors, nozzles, and external aerodynamics.
• Generate CFD databases for vehicle performance modeling.
• Develop large-scale parametric CFD studies on HPC platforms.
• Support reacting-flow CFD and propulsion workflows as needed.
• Correlate CFD with wind tunnel and flight data; document methodology.
• Maintain CFD case documentation and convergence criteria.
• Collaborate with Aero-Propulsion and Flight Dynamics teams.
