Xylem Tree Experts is seeking a climber in Conway, AR to perform professional tree pruning and removal. Responsibilities include climbing, loading debris, and using hand tools and a chain saw under foreperson direction; safety is paramount.

The role requires climbing ability, knotting and rigging knowledge, and willingness to travel for storm restoration; first aid/CPR certification is essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate knowledge of knots, ropes, and rigging for tree trimming and removal.
• Able to climb/descend trees with rope and safety saddle.
• Administer emergency rescue techniques and basic first aid.
• Familiar with electrical hazards and procedures near conductors.
• Capable of working at heights under varying weather conditions.
• Physical strength, balance, depth perception, and hearing required.
• Willing to travel for storm restoration work.
• Must obtain and maintain first-aid certification and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Climb, prune, and remove trees as directed by Foreperson.
• Load/unload trucks with logs and debris; feed brush into chipper.
• Work from ground using hand saws, pole saws, pruners, and gas chain saws.
• Inspect tools/equipment for safe operation.
• Enforce safe practices, keep area clean, communicate with crew.
• Perform duties for storm restoration as needed.
