Job summary

Kanaan Communications, LLC is seeking a Laborer Telecom Aerial to support an Aerial Telecom Crew with installing and maintaining fiber/telecom cables and materials. You’ll help ensure crews have tools and equipment to complete tasks safely and efficiently.

This role involves outdoor physical work, following DOT guidelines, and potential overtime or travel. We offer weekly pay, PTO, holidays, 401(k) match, stock purchase plan, education reimbursement, and more to help you grow with our team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Certified pole climber or willing to become certified.
• Previous labor experience in telecommunications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed.
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Ensure door-tagging and resident notifications are completed before starting work.
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools.
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
