Job summary

Congruex in Sacramento seeks an experienced Foreman to oversee crews onsite, ensure safe, accurate and timely work, and coordinate with management and customers. The role emphasizes leadership, safety, and field supervision across multiple Foreman levels I–III.

Responsibilities include daily crew management, site safety inspections, and direct participation in heavy equipment operations, concrete and trench work, with strong emphasis on communication and compliance with OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Pass pre-employment background check and drug test.
• Possess and maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
• Communicate effectively with crew, leadership and customers.
• Able to manage crews and coordinate with subcontractors.
• Must drive/operate company vehicles and work equipment.
• Ensure OSHA safety compliance and proper PPE usage.
• Bilingual Spanish and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and track daily activities of assigned crews.
• Continually inspect sites for hazards and safety compliance.
• Operate (but not limited to) track-hoe, back-hoe, mini excavator, skid steer, dozer, haul truck and trencher.
• Excavate and backfill trenches for underground utilities safely.
• Form and pour concrete; place asphalt as required.
• Coordinate with local officials, customers and project managers.
• Maintain daily paperwork; ensure cleanup and site restoration.
