Responsibilities

As a Aerial Foreman, you will support all phases of utility construction for various telecom projects. You believe in doing the job right, being the best, and embracing a challenge.

• Install and repair aerial CATV, coaxial, and fiber cable
• Place, relocate, and remove poles, lines, open-wire, drop, and block wire to maintain efficient customer facilities
• Set up safety perimeters using signage, cones, and barriers
• Review project plans and specifications to ensure adherence to design standards
• Direct on-site activities and oversee daily schedules and productivity
• Properly document work and record time for the crew
• Communicate with supervisors and managers
• Lead in-house crews and oversee daily operations

Qualifications

About You:

• Safety-conscious with a track record of quality work
• Problem solver with a hands-on approach

• Enjoy teamwork and getting hands dirty
• Experience in telecommunications construction (3+ years)
• Knowledge of telecom industry practices, coax/splicing, fiber splicing, directional drilling, aerial and underground construction
• Comfort working in bucket trucks and climbing poles
• Understanding of OSHA safety requirements
• Knowledge of CATV building practices and field equipment
• Certifications: OSHA 10, CPR, Flagging
• Ability to operate a digger Derrick truck, lift up to 70 lbs., work at heights up to 35 feet, and read work orders and prints
• Willingness to work on call, including evenings and weekends
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and demonstrate leadership skills
