Job summary

Ansco & Associates, LLC is seeking a Telecom Aerial Foreman to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems. You will ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and quality while guiding on-site teams in Dallas, Houston, or surrounding areas.

The role emphasizes on-site leadership, adherence to codes, and responsiveness to storm events, with opportunities for professional growth and hands-on training.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related work experience.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical exam and obtain medical card.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Certified pole climber or willingness to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems per codes and customer requirements.
• Safely operate bucket truck, digger derrick, and excavators.
• Maintain safe work areas and ensure traffic flows are managed on site.
• Provide guidance to crew and support storm-response travel on short notice.
• Complete daily work orders and safety checks, document productivity.

What you'll do

• Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures according to relevant codes, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Safely use equipment like bucket truck, digger derrick, excavators
• Ensure work areas are safe and that traffic flows smoothly while on the job
• Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders
• Safely use hand tools and power tools like wrenches, drills, and saws
• Provide guidance and support to others as needed
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks to document productivity and safety compliance
• Other duties as assigned

What you'll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state's driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card
• At least 3 years of related work experience
• To be a certified pole climber or be willing to become certified
• CDL Class “A” driver license is preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level, at heights in confined spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, use ladder, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift objects greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use keyboard and mouse
