Job summary

Wire 3 is seeking a Manager of Pole Attachment & Make-Ready to lead permit acquisition and make-ready engineering for FTTH projects. This remote role requires ownership of the application process, coordinating with utilities and engineering firms to keep builds on schedule across the Southeast.

You will report to the VP of PMO and travel to regional offices as needed. Qualified candidates have 10+ years in pole attachment work and FTTH or CLEC construction experience, with a engineering degree

Qualifications

• Requires 10+ years in pole attachment permitting and make-ready engineering.
• FTTH or CLEC construction experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end pole attachment permit acquisition across markets in the Southeast US.
• Coordinate with utility pole owners and engineering vendors to secure approvals.
• Manage make-ready engineering surveys, estimates, and schedules.
• Maintain tracking logs and provide status updates to leadership.
• Resolve conflicts with pole owners, attachers, and joint-use agreements.
