Air Methods in Taos, NM seeks an experienced Paramedic to join its CBS flight team. You will deliver high‑quality pre‑hospital ALS care, perform assessments, triage, and treatments under Medical Director guidance, and support the mission with a focus on safety. Requirements include 3+ years in a busy 911 system, valid EMT-Paramedic license, and current certifications. The role requires strong teamwork, ability to work a flexible schedule, and willingness to travel up to 5%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least three years’ related experience or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field preferred
• Minimum three years recent experience in busy 911 system
• Previous critical care transport and flight experience a plus
• Weight restriction: must not exceed 225 pounds including gear

Responsabilités

• Provide pre-hospital ALS from first contact to handoff to accepting facility
• Maintain thorough patient care documentation
• Maintain licensure, certifications, CE, and safety training records
• Attend minimum six educational programs per year
• Report equipment failures and ensure repairs and adequate onboard supplies
• Assist in flight operations and post-mission debriefings
• Engage in outreach and education activities
• Travel up to 5% for coverage and training
