Job summary

Air Methods Clinical in Taos is seeking an experienced paramedic to join our Community Based Services flight team. The role delivers high-level pre-hospital care during helicopter transports, documents care, and maintains licensure and training per state requirements.

Candidates should have 3+ years in busy 911 systems, with a preference for flight/critical care transport experience and a health-related bachelor's degree. A dynamic, on-call schedule and ongoing education support are provided.

Qualifications

• Parademic license and adherence to state scope requirements
• Minimum 3 years in busy 911 system
• Bachelor's degree in health-related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital advanced life support and document patient care from initial contact to handoff
• Maintain licensure, certifications and continue education annually
• Attend pre-mission briefings, complete mission documentation, assist with liftoff and safety checks
• Support flight crew and communicate with pilot and medical base supervisor
• Participate in outreach and education activities
• Ensure safety standards and equipment readiness
