Job description

Join to apply for the Aerial Line Foreman role at Stran Technologies.

We are hiring skilled Aerial Line Foremen to help build and maintain new outside plant telecom fiber networks. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Lancaster County, with compensation ranging from $30.00 to $44.00 per hour, plus benefits such as 401k and PTO.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair aerial and underground fiber optic cables and other telecommunication lines.
• Inspect and test telecommunication systems.
• Climb poles and work aloft on support structures.
• Follow safety protocols and use safety equipment.
• Support construction activities and coordinate with team members.
• Record work activities and crew production data.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a crew foreman in telecommunications.
• Knowledge of pole setting, cable placement, and safety standards.
• Ability to climb poles, operate mechanized equipment, and perform manual labor.
• Physical ability to work in all weather conditions, lift heavy objects, and work at heights.
• Valid driver's license, CDL A preferred, with a clean MVR.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug tests.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
• Work in various environments, including tight spaces and at heights.
• Operate tools and equipment safely.
