Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts is looking for an Aerial Lift Trimmer to perform trimming, pruning, and removal of trees using bucket trucks and other tools. The role requires prior bucket truck experience and an active driver’s license.

You will follow safety rules, prepare equipment, and work with the crew on routine and storm-related vegetation management tasks. Responsibilities include cutting and clearing vegetation near power lines, rigging, and debris disposal.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in electric utility vegetation management or related fields preferred.
• Experience operating bucket trucks preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain first-aid certification and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe practices and enforce safety rules.
• Assist in preparing truck and materials as directed by General Foreperson.
• Perform tree maintenance and removal activities as directed.
• Clear and trim trees and brush away from utility lines; remove branches and debris.
• Clean up and dispose of all debris; maintain tools and equipment.
• Observe and improve climbing and tree maintenance skills.
• Support other crew members in daily activities.
• Safeguard employees and the public from hazards in the work area.
