Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts is seeking an Aerial Lift Trimmer to trim, prune, and remove trees using a bucket truck or other equipment. At least one year of aerial lift experience is preferred. Driving license is helpful but not required.

You will follow safety practices, prepare crew materials, perform maintenance tasks, clear branches near utility lines, and assist other crew members as needed. A high school diploma is preferred, and a background check and drug screen may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in electric utility vegetation management or related trades
• Previous aerial lift experience preferred
• Must pass background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Follow and enforce safety practices on site
• Prepare truck and materials daily as directed
• Perform tree maintenance tasks as directed
• Clear/trim trees away from utility lines and remove debris
• Clean up and dispose debris
• Maintain and track tools and equipment
• Improve climbing and tree maintenance skills
• Assist other crew members as needed
• Ensure safety around work area and communicate with crew
• Support storm restoration work as required
