Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts is seeking an Aerial Lift Trimmer in Washington to trim, prune, and remove trees using a bucket truck or similar equipment. A valid driver’s license is required and prior aerial lift experience with a tree care company is essential.

Applicants must be able to pass background checks and drug screening; the role is union-represented and involves safety-critical work around electrical hazards.

Qualifications

• Experience operating an aerial lift trimmer with a tree care company is required.
• High School diploma or education equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety practices and enforce rules.
• Prepare truck and materials for daily work as directed by the General Foreperson.
• Perform professional tree maintenance as directed by the General Foreperson.
• Clear and trim trees near utility lines and remove debris.
• Dispose of debris and maintain tools and equipment.
• Maintain and track tools and equipment used daily.
• Practice climbing and tree maintenance skills to improve proficiency.
• Assist other crew members as needed.
• Safeguard employees and public by enforcing safe practices and keeping area safe.
• Perform duties for storm work as needed.
