Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services are seeking an Aerial Lift Trimmer in North Carolina. The role involves trimming, pruning and removing trees using bucket trucks or other tools, with at least one year of aerial lift trimming experience preferred. A high school diploma is preferred, and a driver’s license is a plus.

Travel for storm restoration work is required as needed. Expect duties ranging from equipment prep and debris cleanup to enforcing safety standards and maintaining

Qualifications

• Requires at least one year as an aerial lift trimmer or similar.
• High School diploma or education equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe practices and help enforce safety rules.
• Prepare truck and materials daily as directed by Foreperson.
• Perform professional tree maintenance as directed.
• Clear and trim trees near utility lines and remove debris.
• Clean up and dispose of debris after work.
• Maintain tools and equipment used in daily operations.
• Demonstrate climbing/tree maintenance skills and improve them.
• Assist crew members in daily activities.
• Enforce safe work area practices and keep area tidy.
• Perform storm work duties when needed.
