Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services is hiring an Aerial Lift Trimmer in North Carolina. The role involves trimming, pruning, and removing trees using a bucket truck and related equipment, with a required driver's license.

Prior experience and a strong safety mindset are essential. Responsibilities include handling ropes and rigging, maintaining equipment, and supporting the crew during daily operations and storm restoration.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate working knowledge of knots, ropes, and rigging devices used in tree trimming/removal.
• Must identify tree species.
• Familiarity with electrical hazards and procedures near conductors and aloft.
• Able to work at significant heights in varying weather.
• Must obtain and maintain first-aid certification and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Trim, prune, and remove trees with bucket truck or equipment.
• Follow safe practices and enforce safety rules.
• Prepare truck and materials as directed by General Foreperson.
• Clear debris and ensure proper disposal.
• Maintain tools and equipment daily.
• Assist crew members in all daily activities.
• Travel for storm restoration work when needed.
