Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts in Bishopville, SC is seeking an experienced Aerial Lift Trimmer. You will trim, prune and remove trees using bucket trucks or similar equipment, supporting a safety-focused crew in electric utility vegetation work.

Requires at least two years of professional aerial lift experience, valid driver’s license (CDL preferred), and willingness to travel for storm restoration. This full-time role offers health insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate knowledge of knots, ropes and rigging for tree trimming and removal.
• Identify tree species accurately in field operations.
• Familiar with electrical hazards and safe procedures near conductors.
• Capable of climbing and working at heights in varying weather.
• Possess or obtain first-aid certification and CPR.
• Dual focus on safety and efficiency during storm restoration work.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe practices and enforce safety rules on site.
• Help prep truck and materials as directed by foreperson.
• Perform professional tree maintenance tasks as directed.
• Clear/trim around utility lines and dispose debris.
• Maintain tools and equipment and assist crew as needed.
