Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts in Phenix City, AL is seeking an Aerial Lift Trimmer to trim, prune, and clear vegetation around utility lines using a bucket truck and related equipment.

The role requires prior aerial lift experience and a valid driver’s license, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork. You’ll assist in daily operations, participate in storm restoration, and maintain all tools and PPE.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate knot, rope and rigging knowledge used in tree trimming and removal.
• Able to identify tree species and assess hazards near electrical lines.
• Willing to travel for storm restoration work and comply with PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety practices and enforce rules at all times.
• Prepare truck and materials for daily work as directed by foreperson.
• Perform professional tree maintenance and trim clearings near utility lines.
• Clean up debris and keep tools and equipment in good condition.
• Support crew and assist other members in daily activities.
• Respond to storm-related duties as needed.
