Job description

Looking for an opportunity to make a difference? Then you may have found your next career move. We're seeking a Laborer to join our Aerial Crew team to help connect America. As a Laborer, Aerial Crew, you will perform duties related to installing and repairing aerial telecommunications cables, ensuring that the scope of work performed meets customer standards.

What you'll do...
  1. You will be the ground hand for technicians, providing parts as needed, and moving the bucket truck as directed by the technician.
  2. You will ensure that door-tagging and resident notification of our construction activities are completed before starting each workday.
  3. You will perform and document daily inspection and maintenance of fleet vehicles and equipment. If licensed, you may drive company vehicles to the job site.
Who we're looking for...
  1. You are at least 18 years old.
  2. You are authorized to work in the United States.
  3. You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  4. You possess a valid standard Driver's License with at least 2 years of driving experience or a Class A Commercial Driver's License.
  5. You have 0-1+ years of unskilled labor experience; experience in telecommunications is a plus.
  6. You can lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed.
  7. You may be a certified pole climber or capable of demonstrating proficiency.
  8. You have knowledge of aerial and underground cable installation, conforming to all applicable codes and customer specifications.
