Road Construction Laborer with CDL class A or B

Join our team as a Road Construction Laborer with CDL class A or B at Surface Preparation Technologies, LLC.

Position Overview

This role involves operating CDL equipment nationwide, performing inspections, ensuring safety, and supporting road safety initiatives through rumble strip installations across the United States.

Responsibilities

1. Operate CDL equipment on local, state, and interstate highways.
2. Perform pre/post vehicle and equipment inspections.
3. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
4. Work independently once trained, with occasional interaction with inspectors and engineers.
5. Adhere to safety protocols and wear PPE.
6. Assist with equipment maintenance and maintain good housekeeping practices.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record.
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of safety practices related to heavy equipment.
• Ability to read a tape measure and use hand/power tools.
• Ability to lift 60+ pounds and work long shifts (8-14 hours).
• Willingness to travel extensively with overnight stays.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
