Job summary

GridSource is seeking an Aerial Ground Hand in Searcy, AR to actively support aerial crews, projects, and efforts. This role involves assisting with installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial cables and equipment, while adhering to safety guidelines.

The position requires climbing poles, handling tools, and collaborating with teams to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently. We offer weekly pay, health/vision/dental insurance, PTO, a 401(k), and sick leave in accordance with laws.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college or vocational training preferred.
• Willingness to climb poles with proper equipment and safety gear.
• Working knowledge of construction, NEC, OSHA regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Support aerial construction crews and assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial cables and equipment.
• Help with site preparation and make-ready projects in other construction divisions.
• Operate a bucket truck following safety regulations after training.
