Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a Flight Paramedic to join our air transportation team. You will transport patients to and from facilities and perform scene call work, maintaining high safety standards and quality patient care.

You will handle electronic records, perform base checks, and work with a professional team across pre-hospital and hospital settings. Minimum three years of EMS or critical care experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a911 or critical care setting.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification required prior to flight status.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) required within 24 months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for completion and submission of electronic patient care record for each dispatched flight within the specified time frame.
• Perform daily base checks including narcotic count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care from initial contact until handoff to the accepting facility.
• Maintain documentation of licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety, and advanced procedures in the Employee Education Manual.
• Ensure safe operation and maintenance knowledge of equipment and supplies used by emergency programs.
