Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a 911 or critical care setting.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification required prior to flight status.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) required within 24 months from date of hire.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care record for each dispatched flight within the specified time frame.
• Daily base checks, which includes narcotic count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care from initial contact until patient care is relinquished.
• Maintain thorough patient care documentation and licensure/certification records.
• Operate and maintain emergency equipment and maintain safety standards for crew and patients.
• Attend pre-mission briefings and debriefings and assist with pilot-related tasks as needed.
