Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a Flight Paramedic in Martin, TN to join a team of air transportation professionals. You will deliver pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care, manage patient care documentation, and participate in pre-mission planning to ensure safe patient transport.

Starting pay is $21.32 hourly with DOE, plus a $5.00 hourly area stipend. Candidates must have EMT-P and FP-C within 24 months, with ongoing certification maintenance across required trauma and resuscitation standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a 911 or critical care setting.
• Current EMT-P license/certification for assigned area.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certifications required before flight status.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) required within 24 months of hire.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in the assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the required timeframe.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotics count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from first contact to handoff to receiving facility.
• Maintain competency through ongoing labs and clinical experiences.
• Document licensure, certifications, CE, safety, and procedures in the Employee Education Manual.
• Operate and maintain equipment used by emergency programs.
• Maintain positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals, and the public.
• Serve as a medical flight team member and participate in briefings and debriefings.
• Assist in pre-mission liftoff checklists and provide pilot support as needed.
