FiberTel is seeking an Aerial Construction Lineman for our Portland, OR location. The role requires knowledge of aerial cable installation, pole work, and safety procedures. All applicants considered must pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.

Qualifications

• CDL driver license required with good driving record.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in aerial construction or telecom trade.

Responsabilités

• Read blueprints and drawings to plan repair or pole transfers.
• Cut, assemble and install cables, lashing, mounts, arms, bonds and guy wires.
• Install and maintain fiber, cable and phone equipment.
• Locate and repair issues quickly.
• Place, transfer and remove poles.
• Meet City and DOT requirements and perform pre-trip inspections.
• Document vehicle condition and maintain cleanliness of assigned vehicles.
• Utilize tablets for ticket paperwork and billing.
