Oregon Aerial Construction (OAC) is seeking an Aerial Construction Lineman for our Portland, OR location. The successful candidate will install and maintain aerial telecom systems, read blueprints, and perform pole transfers. CDL license and two years of telecom experience are required.

All applicants must pass pre-employment drug screening and a background check. Work is full-time and outdoor, with potential long hours. Benefits include health coverage, retirement plan, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid CDL driver's license with a good driving record.
• High School Diploma from accredited school or its equivalent.
• Two (2) years of experience in aerial construction or telecom trade.

Responsabilités

• Read blueprints and drawings to plan repairs or pole transfers.
• Cut, assemble and install cables, lashing, mounts, arms, bonds and guy wires.
• Install and maintain fiber, cable and phone equipment.
• Locate and repair issues quickly.
• Place, transfer and remove poles.
• Perform all City and D.O.T. requirements: Pre-trip, Vehicle condition report, etc.
• Pre-trip: Check vehicles before operating for proper functioning of equipment and safety devices.
• Vehicle condition report: Document the condition of vehicle.
• Maintain assigned vehicles to required standards.
• Use tablets to complete proper ticket paperwork for billing and invoicing.
• Load materials in truck as required.
• Perform related work as required.
