Job summary

FiberTel, LLC in Portland, OR is seeking an Aerial Foreman to manage telecom aerial construction projects. Qualifications

• Requires a valid CDL driver's license with a good driving record.
• High School Diploma from accredited school or its equivalent.
• Two (2) years of experience in aerial construction or telecom trade.
• May be required to work long or alternate hours for business needs.
• Skill in operating assigned equipment and performing preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan repairs and pole transfers.
• Cut, assemble and install cables, lashing, mounts, arms, bonds, and guy wires.
• Install and maintain fiber, cable, and phone equipment.
• Locate and repair issues quickly and safely.
• Place, transfer and remove poles.
• Complete required city and DOT safety checks and reporting.
• Pre-trip vehicle inspections and documentation of vehicle condition.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and ensure proper ticket paperwork for billing.
