Air Methods CBS in Prescott Valley seeks a registered nurse with critical care experience to deliver high-quality care during helicopter transport. You will assess, triage, and treat patients, adhering to Medical Director guidelines and ensuring safety throughout the transport continuum.

Responsibilities include documentation, equipment maintenance, pre-mission briefings, and collaboration with pilots. Prior flight experience is a plus; regular travel may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field preferred but not required.
• Minimum three years of recent critical care/emergency nursing experience within the last five years.
• Pre-hospital experience preferred.
• Flight experience is not required but is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Provides nursing care within scope of practice and maintains thorough patient care documentation.
• Maintains competency through ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences; communicates educational needs to supervisors.
• Demonstrates proficiency with equipment; ensures adequate supplies onboard aircraft and maintains a clean, orderly environment.
• Participates in pre-mission briefings, liftoff checklists, and mission debriefings; assists pilot as needed while maintaining safety standards.
• Serves as a flight resource for neonatal/pediatric patients and performs advanced skills as approved.
