Job summary

Congruex in the United States is seeking an Aerial Laborer to support telecommunications construction crews by preparing job sites, tools, equipment, and supplies for daily field activities. You will assist Linemen and Foremen with manual labor, material handling, traffic control, site preparation, and safe work practices.

This entry-level position provides on-the-job training and opportunities to develop skills and progress within the telecommunications line construction field.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required safety training and certifications.
• Entry-level position; previous telecommunications, utility, construction, or engineering experience is not required.
• Previous experience in a construction or field environment is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading, unloading, organizing, and preparing tools, equipment, supplies, and materials at job sites.
• Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, tamping, cutting brush, moving materials, and maintaining clean work areas.
• Assist with traffic control and maintain safe operations around construction activities.
• Drive company-provided vehicles between the yard and assigned job sites as needed.
• Follow instructions from Linemen, Foremen, and Supervisors while supporting daily construction activities.
• Identify unsafe conditions and take appropriate action to maintain a safe work environment.
