Job summary

Congruex in Ohio is seeking an entry-level Laborer to support telecommunications construction crews by preparing job sites, tools, equipment, and materials for daily field activities. You will assist Linemen and Foremen with manual labor, traffic control, and safe work practices in a hands-on training environment.

This role offers on-the-job training with opportunities to grow within the telecommunications line construction field.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain and maintain safety training and certifications.
• Entry-level; previous telecommunications, utility, construction, or engineering experience is not required.
• Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a team.
• Valid Class A CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Linemen and Foremen with loading, unloading, organizing, and preparing tools, equipment, supplies, and materials at job sites.
• Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, tamping, cutting brush, moving materials, and maintaining clean and organized work areas.
• Assist with traffic control and maintain safe operations around construction activities.
• Drive company-provided vehicles between the yard and assigned job sites as needed.
• Follow instructions from Linemen, Foremen, and Supervisors while supporting daily construction activities.
• Identify unsafe conditions and take appropriate action to maintain a safe work environment.
